Introducing ZTLment’s collaboration with Monerium, an on-chain fiat infrastructure for builders and businesses. In this blog post, we will explore how ZTLment uses Monerium’s infrastructure to automate payouts.
ZTLment specializes in automating the collection and distribution of fiat money on decentralized rails. Merchants collect funds via a payment gateway and then ZTLment’s software takes over, automating payments to suppliers based on existing workflow events. Data events such as QR code scanned, goods delivered, and order complete trigger payment, meaning that funds move alongside business workflows, instead of behind them.
Let’s take QR-code payment solutions for restaurants as an example. Customer’s restaurant orders are placed via a QR code, which then triggers a payout directly to the restaurant. Behind the scenes, ZTLment orchestrates the collection and distribution of money, ensuring restaurants are paid as quickly and accurately as possible. In that way, the QR code payment provider reduces their risk, eliminates manual work and pays suppliers out on time
Central to ZTLment's product is Monerium's on-chain fiat infrastructure, facilitating user accounts and fiat currency transactions on-chain. This enables ZTLment to offer EURe tokens, managed by their smart contract software. This new, fully regulated software ensures precise transactions, minimising errors and fraud risks. By issuing tokens backed by real funds in a regulated environment, Monerium enables ZTLment to offer cost-effective payments and facilitate secure digital asset movement.
As Monerium stands out for being regulated and compliant with European laws, so does ZTLment. Last year ZTLment were approved as a payment institution across Europe, making them the first in Europe to gain a license that lets it operate fully regulated payments on top of blockchain.
This is an example of how Monerium can help their partners enable cost-effective payments through the issuance of tokens backed by real funds in a regulated environment. Ensuring; secure and efficient digital asset movement.
